Detectives Benson and Stabler are called to a crime scene – a young woman dressed in a maid's uniform has apparently committed suicide. But there's lots of sexual related bruising so they question whether she was pushed and if she was raped.

A dead body is found in a tree in an elderly woman's backyard. She is dressed as a house keeper and have signs of a recent attack. Based on where she landed Detectives Benson and Stabler determine that she fell from the balcony of the penthouse that belongs to the Lamerly's. The victim is identified as Drew Lamerly's ex girlfriend, which causes the Detectives to believe that he may have something to do with it.

This was a decent episode. I'm not really that interested in storyline such as this when a wealthy teenager is able to get away with just about anything. It seems so fake most of the time and I find it hard to believe that the Detectives of the SVU are the only ones who are able to give them the punishment they deserve.moreless

Well no guess to who gets blamed for this!

Actually youll be surprised, if not overwrought!

I liked this episode - it had tension and misdirection in abundance. More so because Munch and IceT get five minutes! Ive never understood why these characters dont have their fair share of screentime?!

As for the episode, prepare to meet a really creepy family. Forget the riches these guys have wierd currency in the millions. The plot moves along above average and the scenes are pretty dramatic, though the boy gets to be a bit grating after a while. Maybe I just found the actor a pain.

The twist at the end though is what youd expect from a L&O-SVU episode. I love it when the lawyers get screamed at and they sh!t their pants, even if it is for a second. Something about their veil of invulnerability turn a shade of brown makes me laugh. Thats more a testement to the actors who play the roles and make them believeable.

This is a brilliant episode, but its not far off. Id suggest this isnt one you miss, but if you do try and get it on a repeat!moreless

The episode begins with discovery of a young girl who's fallen from a high-rise. Did she jump, fall, or get pushed? We don't know. Residents, wealthy, white, and influential, first insist it was a made. Given that the woman was wearing a maids' uniform, the police believe it. However, the maid they were referring to was alive and sent out of town by them to make the police believe otherwise. Next we find it's the girlfriend of the teenage boy in this powerful family. While I tend to watch even after this point, they lose me when the judge bars the prosecution from using any information they gained during his interview with a psychiatrist. That, in and of itself, is common. What bothers me is the fact that it was SVU's psychiatrist and the interview was a polygraph test the boy volunteered for. Where's the logic in that?moreless
