One case becomes two as a murder leads to a serial rapist who is busy spreading disease along with his assaults, and the detectives' only clue is a website set up for casual and anonymous encounters.
  • Too Much drama, little plot (Warning Spoilers)

This episode was a incoherent mess from start to finish. This episode was full of needed drama, and had little to do with the murder (which I known that has happened before but not this quick). The whole think was a joke, the perp, the victim, and the grandfater just added fuel to the fire. The victim threw acid at the prep said she wanted justice, even though she was going to testify, and then she is on trial for assult. Then the grandfather commits suicide, admits the truth about the perps mother and the perp trys to repent for his sins. The whole thing was nonsense.moreless
  • Solid episode.

It amazes me that after over 200 episodes and 10 years, the show is still able to create new and compelling stories for Wednesday nights. Tonight we saw a man who had HIV, and knew he had HIV, intentionally spreading it for the sake of revenge for a stripper giving it to him.

The episode featured little Ice-T and BD Wong, which is always a good thing, and one of the better Mariska Hargitay performances of the season. Strong enough to earn her an Emmy nomination? Probably not, but still a great, powerful, determined performance that showed why the Olivia Benson character is much more than just the stone-cold female cop so many other shows have.

Law and Order: SVU is having a good season, and let us hope the second half of Season 11 is just as good.moreless
