  • Rubbish. Nothing Happened. No resolution to anything. As the title suggests, everyone gets screwed and thats about it. By far the worst episode of SVU.

Absolute Rubbish. The writers should be sacked for writing this bull. Nothing Happened. No resolution to anything. As the title suggests, everyone gets screwed and thats about it. By far the worst episode of SVU I have ever seen. And I have seen most of them. How about writing an episode where something good happens to one of the main characters for once? Or you can just make another episode about how bureaucratic the NYPD is and how the cops all get screwed over for doing nothing. I feel sorry for anyone that sat through this drivel. Shame on you SVU writers.moreless

  • An emotional episodes, where all the mistakes the detectives have done is brought up.

This episode has to be one of the best episodes that I have seen. From the start it was an emotional toll. We finally got to hear about Simon again, Kathleen DIU's charge, and we get some dirt of Fin. We get to hear about how Darius got concsieved. ((Spoiler! It was Terrica's father)) Olivia talks with IAB about how she helped her brother. Kathleen gets arrested, and Elliot sees her off. Cragen gets dismissed from the job. It was probably the emotional music at the end that made it so good!moreless

  • Most likely the best episode of SVU ever.

Wow. What can I say about this finale. I wasnt sure what I was expecting but it was utterly amazing. For one thing, I felt this season has been a bit uneven with its episodes but this definitely tops everything. Chris "Ludacris" Bridges did an amazing job. I hope he gets Emmy nominated for Best Guest Star. And speaking of guest stars, Rebecca Gay Hamilton (from The Practice) did an excellent job as Finn's ex-wife/Darius's mother. Its also always great to see Judith Light and Stephen Weber likes to appear on this series as too. I'm looking forward to Adam Beach joining the cast next season, while we also saw Stabler's wife and daughter appear, along with Benson's half brother. But I didnt really know how to react to seeing Nancy Grace and Star Jones... since I hate them.

Honestly, I was also surprised with the verdict; I still cant believe that he actually got away with it, and even after everything. This entire court case has literally "screwed" everyone (a very appropiate title) and we have the Captain, Olivia, Finn, and even the ADA Novak's careers on the line. Overall and amazing episode and an amazing way to end the season. I can't wait until the 9th season (can you believe, its already been 8 seasons!) premieres this fall.moreless

  • I like SVU, but this was one of the worst episodes of the whole series.

The episode began with an annoying and pointless cameo for Nancy Grace and Star Jones. Instead of the normal SVU episode they spent the entire show following the court case of an earlier episode.

It seemed that the only point of this episode was to make sure that they could explain why the stars of the show might not be back next year. Are they in contract negotiations or something? Finally, just because Ludacris is on the show, and he was good in the movie Crash, doesn't mean that you have to have over-the-top melodramatic music playing through the ending of the show. I thought this was one of the best shows on television, but the last few episodes have been weak, and this was awful.moreless

  • "Screwed" is a continuation of the Season 7 episode "Venom." It shows Darius Parker's (Chris "Ludacris" Bridges) trial for the murder of a woman and her 14-month old son.

This episode was one of the most breath-taking, edge-of-the-seat episodes of SVU ever. It starts off with Nancy Grace and Star Jones talking about the case to show the high publicity of it. I think it worked well with this episode. Then the trial starts and detectives Benson, Stabler, and Tutuola are served (even though Benson ends up not having to testify). Novak has a hard time persecuting Darius because of the way Darius is portraying himself (as a victim, obviously).

I must say one of the best scenes (in my opinion) was when Judge Elizabeth Donnelly (Judith Light) stepped down as judge because of the previous knowledge she knew of Stabler's daughter, Kathleen's, DUI back from a previous season.

Another great scene was when Teressa Randall (Lisa Gay Hamilton) finally testified in court. She reveals that Darius was a product of rape, and her rapist was actually her father. However, Darius calls her a liar and says that she has lied since day one, making it not clear if this is true.

The music at the end of the episode reminded me of the end of Crash, and I think it might have been the same music. I thought it was amazing to see everything happening -- Benson appealing to Internal Affairs, Kathleen Stabler being arrested, etc.

The performances in this episode were amazing. Everyone was spectacular, even Jack McGee (the man who played the gun store owner in Crash), who had a few lines, gave an amazing performance.

Michael Weston aslo makes an appearance as Simon Marsden, Benson's half-brother. It is a brief appearance, but it goes to show how vital of a character he has become. I hope to see more of him in the upcoming episodes.

One thing that this episode was lacking was B.D. Wong. He was the only one out of the main cast who did not make an appearance (even Tamara Tunie was in the beginning). I thought it would have been good to have Dr. Huang take the stand and talk about Darius. The episode ends on a cliffhanger, with Benson's, Cragen's, and Tutuola's jobs in jeopardy. From various reports I have read, no one from the main cast is leaving the show -- so I am guessing that means everyone keeps their job.

All in all, I think this episode is by far one of the best episodes of SVU. Season 8 has had so many great episodes such as Informed (Premiere), Infiltrated, Choreographed, Philadelphia, Florida, and of course, Screwed.moreless

    • Odafin Tutuola: You told Darius about the drugs and the gun, didn't you? Ken Randall: Ten years ago! I mean, I looked in the glove box and found the stash. As usual, you screamed at me. I was ten. Odafin Tutuola: There you go again. Will you change the channel? Ken Randall: That, that right there is why I always went to Darius. Mom was so busy blaming you and you were so busy working, there was no one to hear me. How could I know he'd use it against you? How could I know he'd have a reason to? Edit
    • Odafin Tutuola (to Ken, yelling): I wasn't there for you. Okay, you're angry. I get it. Get over it, man! Get a therapist. Work it out. I'm not trying to hear this right now! Edit
