  • When a Transexual is left Murdered in a Church it's only up to Benson and Stabler to find out what happened.

    6.0
    This episode is one of my favorites because it took place during the Church Scandals in the series. What is extremely interesting is this episode is based around a tranny. This is the first episode to feature Sister Peg. When Benson and Stabler think they've found their killer they find that one of there suspects is a germophobia. Interesting how they find out the Latin is an accusation towards the church. When they find their Germophobic priest who happens not to be a priest yet. It happened like this, Bobby had started the fire, someone snuck up and startled him. He turned around and beat him into the head, with the flashlight. Bobby confesses to the murder, and tells of a room "the lair" boys went in and came out as lions. The priest would show him pornography, and touch him him. This episode wasn't just wrong in the way that, priests actually do that. I find this episode to disturb me the most because I myself am a Christian.moreless

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    This story line was very unoriginal. This plot has been done to death. I admit i did like how elliots beleifs were shaken it added something to the plot thats making me not give it a 5. I saw the who dunnit aspect right away. I thought that lao svu would have pulled out something better for the finalemoreless
    When a 16 year old prositute is found murdered in a church, Benson and Stabler begin their investigation by talking to the preist, Father Michael. After digging into the preist's background, they find that he was acused of abusing some boys at the school he used to teach at. After discovering that there was a church cover up to keep the past of Father Michael hidden, the Detectives begin to suspect that the murder was just an accident, and that there are bigger problems to worry about. This is a good episode. You can tell by this episode that Elliot Stabler tries to live his life by the teachings of the Catholic church. When he first enters the crime scene, he bows before the alter, performing the sign of the cross. During the course of the investigation, you can tell that it tests his faith in the church.moreless
