Continuity: In the episode "Justice", when Cragen points out his history with the judge who was the victim's stepfather, he says, "We have history. We both went to St. John's, I run into Walt at every function." However, in this episode, the crime takes place at St. Raymond's University, which Cragen states is his alma mater.
Goof: When Dr. Goodnall is speaking with Benson and Stabler, she incorrectly refers to the victim as Jeanine rather than Jeanne. Rounding out a flawed scene, Benson calls her Dr. Goodall throughout.
Elliot Stabler: Do you get the sense the great St. Raymond University machine is throwing itself in front of this investigation?
Donald Cragen: Why would they do that? Jeanne Gallagher's a student there.
Brian Cassidy: Money.
Elliot Stabler: And they got a winning franchise. Our main suspects are basketball players. We put away one or two of their star players ...
John Munch: And they're out forty million dollars.
Donald Cragen: Forty million dollars? I keep getting fundraising letters saying that they're broke.
John Munch: Well, eight million dollars in television fees alone, then they get more money from alumni contributions, then there's tickets and the merchandising ...
Olivia Benson: Hats, T-shirts ...
John Munch: Plastic pen holders, plastic saints. You remember when it was all Georgetown this, Hoyas that? Now it's the U. Conn. Huskies.
Olivia Benson: I'll tell you this. I bet St. Raymond's would love a piece of that.
Donald Cragen: Well, you may want to remind them that whatever privileges they may extend to their players, we make arrests without first considering a suspect's free throw percentages.
Elliot Stabler: Noted, jefe.
Abbie Carmichael: What did they call it before we invented the terms "date rape" and "sexual harassment"?
Donald Cragen: (sighing) "Boys will be boys"...
Monique Jeffries: Everyone knows they bought their way up.
Donald Cragen: Hey, hey, hey! Come on, watch it! That's my school you're talkin' about!
Olivia Benson: Alcohol level was .27.
Donald Cragen: Wow. Triple the limit. There was a time I yearned for a girl who could drink like that.
Uniformed Officer: You want us to go through the trash?
Elliot Stabler: Yeah, you. Personally.
Vargas: Come on, Miss. You're badgering my client.
Olivia Benson: It's Detective, not miss. And we're not in court, counselor. We're in my house so why don't you save your lawyering for somebody who gives a damn.
Elliot Stabler: If I die, the spot where I go down, you better make sure none of this happens to it or I'm gonna haunt you the rest of your days.
Olivia Benson: Noted.
Special billing was given to Angie Harmon (With Special Guest Appearance by) and George Martin (and) in this episode.
