Benson finds a familiar face at a deserted drug house while she and Stabler are investigating the deaths of a couple with a drug cartel connection. All civility is lost when Agent Porter attempts to use jurisdiction to get rid of them, and the detectives determine to continue with their case which turns out to involve much more than drugs and the people who run them.moreless
  • Cops vs feds, Elliot vs Porter!

    8.0
    "Great"
FBI has that I can get away with whatever I will get away with badge and you can't stop me. That heightens up the arrogance of the feds. But it has to do more with Porter and Olivia. As Porter wants to take jurisdiction and possibly credit over SVU. But SVU think that Porter is more interested in ths case than in any other cases. And it shows that Porter and Olivia are more than just friends. As they were about to share an romantic kiss before Elliot called them in on something. Olivia defends Porter but Elliot won't have any of this at all. But when Olivia has got a gun up to her head, both men must put aside their differences and work together. In the end, we find out that despite it being a national security matter, Porter gets off on murder. As the writers are making the feds look more worse than the bad guys and Olivia really loses her trust in Porter. After all they have been through.moreless
  • Porter's Back!

    "Superb"
So...this episode was so Cool! I mean Elliot acting like a Jealous puppy...man! That was so Funny! and the case was really interesting even tough was not too related to SVU (You know...DRUGS AND THAT!)

As Usual, the acting was convincent, until

    OLIVIA TALKS SPANISH!!!

well, I must say I am a spanish talker and I have something against the tv shows where they feature some latinos (usually the cleaning lady, the drug dealer, or the serial rapist) why they sound like if they don't know what are they saying? like reading a book...slowly...?

anyway, Olivia talking spanish was a tension killer because she sounded sooo funny (actually the man she was talking was funnier) but even so, the episode was great!

    Way to go SVU!moreless
  • Good episode, but kind of confusing.

Well, I think that this episode could have been a little better. It had an okay storyline but somethings I found it a little bit confusing and I find myself just floating in the middle of the story. Overall, I think that this was a good episode. The whole point was just to bring Vincent Spano's character, FBI agent Dean Porter back. And there were some really great scenes involving him, for example Elliot with jealous... it was really funny. And another great scene was the hugh between Olivia and Elliot after she almost being shot. Really enjoyed that one...moreless
  • It was like being on 3 roller coasters...

Very well written and fast paced episode that reunited Olivia with FBI agent Porter. Definitely had to pay close attention in this one; it made you think (what a concept!). There were more twists and turns in this story than in the previous 3 combined. Eliot is suspicious of Porter's actions from the get go and for the most part he is right about him. Good seduction on her part to get info out of Porter but as it turns out it mattered not. Interesting what the FBI will go through to protect their own, even bugging the phones of the squad room. No Alex or Finn in this episode which was surprising on Finn's part since the squad did pay a visit to narcotics, his old stomping grounds. We need more episodes like this one.moreless
  • Solid.

Law and Order: Special Victims Unit usually delivers, and while tonight's episode was without question, unique and entertaining, something just felt a little bit off about it. The whole scandal ending up being a result of a crooked cop was seen from a mile away, but the abrupt conclusion with them not being able to arrest him due to immunity just seemed more offputting than like good TV. SVU is usually about Elliot Stabler getting angry with a rapist, not about political issues between the US and Cuba. So, while it was innovative in that regard, it felt more like a rejected plot from the original Law and Order than one for this precinct. Keep the shows separate, let Law and Order handle the ethical issues and let Special Victims Unit protect women and children from bad guys.

It also didn't help that the case as a whole was bit confusing either.moreless
