When arriving party guests find a prominent doctor murdered and his wife raped, the investigation starts with his estranged son and a former patient, then moves to his mistress and her neighbor and the realization that the wife was the intended victim.

When a doctor is found beaten to death, while he wife was tied up and raped, the Detectives of the Special Victims Unit start their investigation by checking on the victim's family. They find that the doctor was estranged from his son, and he becomes the first suspect. Later the detectives find that the doctor had a mistress, and the focus shifts to her.

This was a decent episode. I found it to be rather boring at times. But overall it was alright. It doesn't change my opinion of Law and Order Special Victims Unit at all, it is still my favorite show of all time.moreless
