  • Nothing too exciting

Frankly, I fell asleep halfway through watching this. I found the whole premise boring. This is not an episode with any tense situation and performances are no where near the quality of the better episodes of this show.

The twist at the end is the only thing saving this episode from being mundane. Blaming the mother however, doesnt really make sense as someone else has pointed out. However, it does provide an interesting conclusion even if it doesnt stand up to logical analysis. Margaret Colin is one of my fav US female actresses and she bring some vibrance in her brief spell at the end.

Unfornunately/fortunately I was taping this so I managed to watch the end of the show, thankfully as the beginning wasnt that great!

If you dont get the chance to watch it, dont worry there are better episodes to bother with!moreless

The body of Kunsong Bennet is found in an alley way. When Detectives Benson and Stabler arrive at the scene, they find that her left foot had been cut off. At first the Detectives believe that the person responsible for Kunsong's murder is someone connected to the torture that she went through while in Tibet. But with the help of Dr. Huang, they are able to classify their suspect as someone with a foot fetish. After Benson realizes that the boots that were found on the victim were $700 shoes, they track the shoes to see where they were from, or who could have purchased them. When they find that they were not in production yet, but that the pair of shoes were stolen, they find the person who was behind the attack, along with a string of other robberies. This is a good episode. When it started and you found out that Kunsong was tortured before, it almost seemed like the case would be solved in the first 15 minutes. But it keeps you watching when the Detectives come across other leads, that brings them to a completely different interpretation of the crime, and those who were behind it.moreless

This episode was really suspencefull . I surelly thought it was gonna be this pyhco guy killer . But it ended up being a guy whose mother tortured him to the point that he became mentally ill and did what he did because the girls didn't give him attention . I really thought it was gonna be a pyhco because of the chopping off of the foot and stealing womens shows . It was a weird so but full of suspence . But they rarely give this show . I think the freaky part of the movie was when they found out that the guy put a ad on the newspaper selling a couch and girls would go and he would attack them thats what freaks me out because you never know when that can happen to you, it can be a innocent day of buying a new couch and u get ur foot chopped off :S:(!!moreless

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • Goof: The medical examiner mentions damage on the victim. She refers to "nine metacarpal bones". There are eight carpal bones (the wrist) and five metacarpals (the palm).

    • Goof: This episode takes place in late January, early February. In the episode "Pandora," which takes place on some of the same days, Stabler was in Prague. In this episode, on the same day, he's in New York.

  • QUOTES (5)

    • Munch: (talking about immigration) Gee, it's almost like someone hung a sign welcoming your tired, your poor, your huddled masses…

    • Don Cragen: (regarding the recent suspect) Any record of bowling-alley guy crossing the foul line?
Olivia Benson: Nope. He's young. Maybe he hasn't been caught yet.
Don Cragen: Or maybe he hasn't been reported yet. Who's going to go to all the trouble of reporting a pair of stolen shoes?

    • Gina Bernardo: Say I wanted to call the opposing council an uptight self-righteous bitch, my frontal lobe would stop me and tell me to keep my mouth shut?

    • Gina: (shoving motion after motion at Alex) I've ordered a mental exam, IQ, physical, and... neurological.
Alex Cabot: Gina, we both know that whatever defense you come up with is going to be a load of crap.

    • Alex Cabot: Thank you. You've offered a very provocative theory. What it lacks in substance, it makes up for in pretty colors.
