The episode was THE BEST episode I have ever watched! It's simply great! As I saw it I was just so tense and on the edge of my seat, always pausing it because I couldn't see a scene anymore without having deep breaths. When Olivia went to the hole I panicked! Really, when the filthies matresses appeared I thought I would die. But then, after calming I continued watching.
It was really intense, it showed a lot of Olivia, and I think her character evolutioned a lot! She saw what it was like to almost be raped, and almost became a victim.
I liked a lot one of the last scenes when Elliot begins to chew his lip and then asks her what happened in the basement. When she answers "Nothing..... I'm fine El", this "I'm fine El" is such a lie! I think not even her believed it! She just wouldn't deal with it with Elliot there. But sooner or later...
In the basement the terror that Olivia is feeling, the public feels. It's totally scary! This episode should be watched by all people that loves the show or don't. A total must! Mariska perfomance reached another level after this.moreless

  • Olivia goes undercover in a prison to find a girl's rapist, only to find that it can be a dark world...

So, this has to be my FAVORITE L&O SVU episode thus far. If you are a Benson fan or just want to see another souless perp, look no further. The episode starts out simple enough, a girl is raped. The plot gets much more complicated as it continues with Benson willing to risk her own safety and go undercover in the all women's prison where the girl's mother's supposed rapist is as well. This episode was the most nervewracking of all episodes for me. You stay on the edge of your seat as Benson is later pursued and attacked by "Mole" Harris. He is by far one of the most creepy and memorable perps. This episode is so many things besides just nervewracking, it is also character development for Olivia - because of her close call, she is able to put herself in the victim's shoes. It would be nice to see the effects of this experience on Olivia but it's probable that it might not be addressed again...moreless

This Law and Order Svu episode was my absolute favorite. It's my number one episode. This is an episode that one can never ever forget. I was at the edge of my seat the entire hour and my eyes were glued to the tv. It was one of those episodes where you dont get up once, not even for a second because you dont want to miss a single minute. I'm glad Fin was there also undercover with Olivia to make sure she doesnt get into hot water. The writer's out did themselves with this episode. Mariska Hargitay's performance in this episode "Undercover," was unremarkable beyond words. It took her ablitities as an actor to a whole new level and I'm glad she was nominated for an emmy for her performance in this episode. I do beleive she does deserve an award for her performance in "Undercover." This is a must see episode of Svu and I'm sure you wont regret it.moreless

After the brutal rape of a young girl by a prison officer Olivia goes undercover into sealview as an inmate. she gets clocked by Fin and attacked by Cpt harris and almost raped. i was on the edge of my seat. things I liked; Mariska's work as always it was flawlessly brilliant she's the main reason I watch this show she's an outstanding performer. The onscreen chemistry between her and chris meloni is fantastic.

i liked the little scene they did together where he asks her what happened in the basement and she says "nothing" and that she is "fine". boys and girls we all know thats a load of hooey she just wasnt dealing at that point. I totally loved this episoe i have lost count of the number of times i have watched it its totally fantastic and I am sorely disappointed that mariska didnt get an emmy.moreless

Olivia Benson: (begging) Ashley, please. (pauses) Was there anything about his penis that was unusual? A scar, a tattoo, anything. Ashley Tyler: He has a big mole. Edit
    • Olivia Benson: He almost killed me. Mr. Hunter: He didn't know you were a cop. Olivia Benson: And that gives him the right to attack me?! Mr. Hunter: The law gives Officer Harris every right to strike an inmate to force compliance. Olivia Benson: But not the right to try and rape me. Lowell Harris: She's lying. Olivia Benson: You raped Ashley Tyler and you murdered her mother. Edit
    • (In interrogation.) Lowell Harris: I go where I'm told. Olivia Benson: You go where you're not gonna get your ass kicked. Lowell Harris: What are you talking about? Olivia Benson: I read your evaluations. They dumped you at Sealview because you didn't have the balls to handle men. Lowell Harris: Shut up. Olivia Benson: You know what I think? I think you hate women. That's why you rape them and if you hate women so much that must mean that you like men. Lowell Harris: (angrily gets in Olivia's face) Shut up. Shut up you filthy whore, do you understand me?! Olivia Benson: (unrattled) Did I strike a nerve? Edit
