This episode was more about the pressures of the job and foster motherhood on Olivia than about the case of creepy Holden targeting girls who shunned him in the past. The judge and ACS knew her circumstances when they appointed Liv as foster mother, don't they expect her to be busy when a killer is on the loose? Meanwhile, Kelli Giddish has been doing some great acting in this ep and the last couple. Peter Gallagher's new character will take some getting used to. The Olivia worshippers will hate him off the bat.

I have to say that John Karna who plays Holden is possibly the worst actor I've ever cpme across. And I really don't know if I can take much more of Olivia's angsting over Noah. Come back, Chris Meloni. L&O SVU needs you. This show's like watching the Titanic - it's sinking fast.

I agree that it would seem like Karna is a horrible actor, but if you look up the videos of Elliot Rogers (the real life killer this is based upon), he sounds and acts EXACTLY like him, so in actuality he did a great job.

Unfortunately unless you know that up front (that he sounds just like the real person this is based on) some people will just think Karna is an awful actor. To me, assomeone who has interacted a lot with people on the autism spectrum, he sounded like he was over-acting the autism part. Now that I know he based himself on a real person his acting takes on a different perspective so thanks for the headsup. I'll see if I can find some videos of Elliot Rogers.
