Levi March: John Lennon.Singer/songwriter and former Beatle John Lennon was shot in 1980 by Mark David Chapman, a very disturbed man who had a bizarre obsession with him. Both Lennon's murder and the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy have several conspiracy theories associated with them.

This episode appears to be ripped from the headlines of the Ira Einhorn case. Einhorn, also known as The Unicorn Killer, murdered Holly Maddux in 1977 after she broke up with him, but it wasn't until 18 months after she was murdered that Ms. Maddux's body was found. After skipping bail in 1981, Einhorn was tried in absentia in 1993, convicted for the murder of Ms. Maddux, and sentenced to life in prison. He later was arrested in France in 1997, extradited to the US, and is currently serving a life sentence.
