    • QUOTES (4)

      • Rey Curtis: Does he do a lot of drugs?
Cafe Waitress: No, just enough to convince himself that he's not middle class, and convince the girls that he's a tortured soul.

      • Rey Curtis: We're all in agreement here. This is a crime.
Jamie Ross: I sure hope so.

      • Rey Curtis: He's deliberately infecting women. To kill them.
Lennie Briscoe: He bragged about it. Said he was going to take them all down with him.
Anita van Buren: Isn't this a case we should hand over to the Health Department?

      • Lana Madison: A couple of months after we broke up, I ran into him at a party. He told me he had AIDS. He said I probably had it too. Then he laughed.

    • NOTES (0)

    • ALLUSIONS (2)

      • Joseph Margini: So what, we put everyone with AIDS in internment camps?

During the Second World War, thousands of Japanese-Canadians and Japanese-Americans were confined in internment camps because the government feared they were enemy sympathizers. It was a shameful period in North American history.

      • This episode appears to be ripped from the headlines of the Nushawn Williams case. Nushawn Williams, an HIV-positive male, slept with over 50 women in New York state without disclosing his HIV status to them. Health officials were granted permission to publicly release Williams' name and HIV status because it was possible that numerous women across the state may have been infected without knowing.
