    • TRIVIA (1)

      • Hotel Manager: Last year, we had an elderly couple from Tokyo. Found a dead hooker under their bed.
Although somewhat wrongly attributed to Tokyo tourists, bodies under hotel beds are a fairly common occurrence - sometimes hookers, but also drug-related deaths and homicides of non-sex workers.

    • QUOTES (8)

      • Christina Talbert: Only stupid girls get pregnant. It's embarrassing.

      • (Arresting Christina and Tommy during an English lecture)
Rey Curtis: Christina Talbert, Thomas Horton, you're under arrest for murder.
Lennie Briscoe: Don't worry, somebody else will take notes for you.

      • (Discussing Christina's pregnancy.)
Rey Curtis: How could a mother miss something like that?
Anita van Buren: Wait till your daughters grow up.

      • Jamie Ross: A baby's dead and no one's responsible.
Adam Schiff: No one was responsible when it was alive, either.

      • (At the arraignment)
Tommy Horton: We can't even see each other?
Judge Edith Waxman: I don't want you making any more victims.
Christina Talbert: But we're in love.
        Judge Edith Waxman: Quiet!

      • Adam Schiff: Flipped a coin in my head. Came up tails. Talk to the boy.

      • Jack McCoy: I'm sick of him, I'm sick of his daughter, and I'm sick of her boyfriend! A baby is dead here!

      • Emil Skoda: She's a narcissistic bitch. Forget about remorse, to her that baby was like a peach pit passing through her system.

    • NOTES (0)

    • ALLUSIONS (1)

      • This episode appears to be ripped from the headlines of the 1996 Grossberg/Peterson case in Delaware. Amy S. Grossberg and Brian C. Peterson admitted to abandoning their baby in a trash can at a motel in Delaware back in November 1996. Ms. Grossberg was sentenced to 30 months in prison and Mr. Peterson was sentenced to two years in prison for cooperating with authorities about the death of their baby.
