Harding, her prime competition was suspected of the crime but denied any involvement. Weeks later, Harding admitted her involvement in exchange for a plea bargain where she served no jail time. Also charged were Harding's ex-husband, Jeff Gillooly, bodyguard Shawn Eckhardt, Shane Stant and Derrick Smith. Harding began a new career as a boxer in the 2000s.
