Rey Curtis: Sounds to me like a hit.
Lennie Briscoe: And a miss.

Lennie Briscoe: (to pretzel vendor) Relax, we're not the pretzel police.

(Discussing Lindsay Carson.)
Adam Schiff: The whole world says her father's a murderer, one guy tells her he's sick. She heard what she wanted to hear.
Jamie Ross: We all do.
Jack McCoy: Yeah, but we don't all pay forty thousand dollars to hear it.

Jamie Ross: We say she's cold-blooded, they say she was in a trance. Tomato, tom-ah-to.

Jamie Ross: Worley? Isn't he the guy who crushed his girlfriend with a car?
Rey Curtis: Yeah, '54 Studebaker. Mayer was the hired gun who was supposed to convince the jury that he's crazy.
Lennie Briscoe: I'm convinced. The guy purposely messed up a vintage automobile.
Anita van Buren: So Mayer was shot by an antique car collector?

Receptionist: You gotta tell me what this is about.
Rey Curtis: A homicide.
Receptionist: Really? My friends are gonna die!

Maitre'd: She fancied herself a wine expert. She ordered the CABARET Sauvignon.

Jack McCoy: Gentlemen, the question remains: at the time of the murder, did she appreciate the consequences of her actions?
Dr. Emil Skoda: Yes.
Dr. Leon Mayer: No.
Jamie Ross: Terrific.
