      • Craig Holland: Mark Messier's a hunk but he's way too butch for our market. In the episode's opening scene, Holland is talking on his cell phone about using former NHL star Mark Messier for a photo spread. Messier played for the New York Rangers when they won the Stanley Cup. Holland also mentions former hockey star Wayne Gretzky aka The Great One.

      • Lennie Briscoe: Twiggy was all bones. This girl was all there. British model Twiggy arrived on the fashion scene in the 1960s and then went on to act and sing in movies. Her birth name was Leslie Hornby. Twiggy was a suitable nickname for her; she had an extremely thin, waifish figure during her modelling days.
