    Sorry to say but since the change in character, the show seems to have lost steam. Jesse Martin was quite entrenched even when paired with Sisto in the new season. They got comfortable quickly, had a easy banter. Think statements like "Looking for a black and white guy in new york". Dont get me wrong. Anthony Anderson is a fine actor. He is a great comic (loud and obnoxious) and a pretty serious player too (Think Shield). I wont even talk about K-Ville. The change was not the right time. And in my opinion, this is where the show jumps the shark. Hopefully, some better writing will come into play. And Anderson is made a bit more lighter to deal with seriousness of police work.moreless

    In an average episode of Law and Order, internet deception runs high.

    Many times we can predict who the perp is and why, and that certainly was the case with this episode. One mercator-geek is deceived by a woman (played by the wonderful Melissa Leo of "Homicide" fame) posing to be her daughter. He's been bilked and it's a typical yarn.

    Standard performances by Lupo and our new detective Bernard played by Anthony Anderson. This was more an episode for the ADA's Cutter and Rubirosa.

    I guess I want to say that for those of us who sit tapping away constantly on the internet that all is not what it seems to be out here.

    A standard show, not horrible, but not a high flyer either.moreless

    Ah yes, the dangers of the internet.

    Case-wise, it was one of the most boring episodes I've seen. I was able to peg the perp almost right off the bat, and the plot was predictable. But the episode does send a message that people should be wary of who they talk to or make friends with online because who knows, they might be some kind of sociopath like Donna.

    As for the actors, I didn't see any spectacular display of acting ability from any one (because this wasn't exactly a dramatic or action-packed episode) but I am starting to warm up a bit to Anthony Anderson's character. I think he's still an a*s, but I think I'm gonna give him a chance. Probably the best part of this whole episode was was Anita Van Buren posing as a younger woman on the internet. I just had to laugh at the stuff she came up with to keep Bob interested.

    3 out of 5 NYPD badges for this one. If this had been the finale (which I thought it was), I would've been really disappointed.moreless

    I was a bit disappointed by this episode. The characters- not cast- but the suspects and whatnot- just seemed really unbelievable and poorly acted. Perhaps just the premise was a bit too childish for original Law and Order- I can't imagine watching this show during the Stephen Hill days and have them discussing 'bfriends.com'. The part with Cutter showing the defendent the bones, unlikely and distasteful as it was, would have been much more stunning in front of a jury. The defense attorneys would have been foaming at the mouth objecting as he juggled evidence bags with skulls and stuff in them, the judge would have been mortified, and the suspect would have broke down crying about Kristen and implicated his girlfriend on the spot- instead there were too many scenes in the second half where not enough was getting done. I've said enough... I'm going to go on bfriends and chat with my girl, the fifty year old police chief.moreless

    This episode started off okay, like your typical Law and Order in 2008, but it got off track really quickly. The last 30 minutes seemed to drag on forever. The last 15 minutes completely digressed the storyline and seemed like something out of an episode of failed FOX drama Vanished than Law and Order.

    There was definitely a void left by Jesse L. Martin's departure. Anthony Anderson, while funny, has yet to gel with the rest of the cast, and unlike Linus Roache who was easy to get used to it, it's awkward seeing a guy from Scary Movie on the program.moreless
