      • Paul Robinette: You think she'll put him on the stand? Ben Stone: She has to, he already confessed. Adam Schiff: Bring your crying towels, boys.

      • Phil Cerreta: Charity usually begins at home, adultery usually begins on the job.

      • Janis Rydell: We have a deal, Stone. Ben Stone: Wrong tense, counselor. In my office, two half-truths do not equal a whole, and you better pray that your client here is snowing you, too. Janis Rydell: Are you threatening me? Ben Stone: As a matter of fact, yes, I am.

      • Paul Robinette: Education. It's a wonderful thing. Ben Stone: 'Anything worth knowing cannot be taught in a classroom.' Paul Robinette: Oscar Wilde? Ben Stone: Sister Mary Frances. She wielded a hell of a paddle.

      • David Kaufer: Hey, I'm a lover, not a killer. Mike Logan: I'm happy for you, Romeo.

      • Roy Pack Jr.: I remember where I was when the Mets traded Darryl. I don't know about the 15th. A reference to Darryl Strawberry, who was not actually traded but signed as a free agent with the Los Angeles Dodgers after the 1990 baseball season.

      • This episode appears to be ripped from the headlines of the Pamela Smart case. In 1990, Pamela Wojas Smart manipulated her 15-year-old lover Billy Flynn into murdering her husband, promising him they would have a future together. Along with his friends Patrick Randall and Vince Lattime Jr., Billy shot Gregory Smart execution-style and then made the scene look like a botched robbery. All three boys turned State's witness against Pamela, who was so poised she was dubbed Ice Princess by the media.
