If you want to understand this episode, The Cult in RL continues to exist and is called "Children of God". hard to watch. there is nothing fictional here.

MSNBC did a special on the suicides that are "attributed" to having been in this cult...INCLUDING RIVER PHOENIX. i had no idea that he was raised in this cult. HOW can they still have a live functioning website UP on the web???

I don't get it. If this is such a well know problem cult, why have they not been stopped. why is it so out there that anyone can still find them on the web and hook up with them...

In real life, the son did kill himself. It's so weird when tv and reality get so closely entwined.moreless

Alex Borgia: Your revolutionary parenting techniques seem to have fallen a little short of the mark.

    • Richard Ranson: Do you know how many suicides there have been among the children who grew up in this abomination? How many drug overdoses? And that's not even counting the alcoholics, the addicts . . . the walking wounded and the living dead.

    • Joe Fontana "Sunshine"? This whole thing is starting to sound like a bad acid flashback from the sixties.
