The city is outraged by what happened in the Central Park during the annual Puortorican day women are splashed with water, harassed and one of them is eventually beaten to death. The first focus of the investigators on the victim's husband and his business partner ends up in the trial when a witness perjures himself and the police have to start to look for other eye-witnesses. This leads to a member of a Hispanic community who in order to keep up with his friends beats up a woman.
This episode left me with some mixed feelings, the proceeding from investigation of the first suspect right to the trial being a bit too quick while there was not so much evidence, then rather little time for the second with the actual perpetrator. Although I liked the plot, I didn't quite appreciate all those leaps.moreless

    • This episode has never been re-aired in the US on NBC, nor until April 2009 in syndication on TNT, although it has aired several times in Canada on the Canadian version of Bravo. The decision by NBC was made in response to allegations that the storyline portrayed the Puerto Rican community in a negative way, following protests from Puerto Rican groups over the episode.
