Prize fighter Samson the Great arrives in Laramie looking to put on exhibitions against the town's best. Samson is rude and obnoxious to everyone. Finally, Dan's had enough in steps into the ring with him.
This was a story about someone getting to full of themselves and needing a comeuppance. Mickey Simpson did a great job here of making Samson as rude and obnoxious as possible, where even I wanted see someone beat him down. After he attacked Johnny, it was kind of neat to see Lily grab a gun, and shoot at Samson. Then Dan has enough and steps into the ring. You can't normally tell it with the shirt he wears, but John Russell had some guns back then. He also had that farmer's tan going. The brawl was really good between Dan and Samson. Poor Lily, she just couldn't watch. Even Johnny looked like he was getting a little squeamish. Thankfully Dan won. I liked the scene with the manager and Samson at the end, where Samson asked what hit me, and the manager says, "Justice." The closing was funny with Lily and Johnny laughing at poor Dan, whose face was so swollen, he couldn't even drink a cup of coffee.
