Ches Ryan has just robbed the payrol. Dan is after him.

Ryan is on his way to leave town, but he needs a strong horse.

He arrives at place on the outskirts with such a horse. It is run by a girl whose brother is sick. The bandit decides to hide out there until he can get the horse to make enough space for himself and Dan.

The Bandit is a nice episode. A criminal develops a dilemna when he must face the fact that he is a common theif or do the right thing and help others in need.

A lot of the plot is far fetched and it's hard to believe the guy would have such a reaction to seeing other suffers, but it's a TV show so you come to expect such plot twists.

It's still done well enough to be entertaining.
