Doc Brewer is a man who has killed his wife's lover in a jealous rage and awaits sentencing. Lou Menke is awaiting a hanging. Dan has to transport the two outside of Laramie unaware that Lou has made a proposition with Doc to escape.

A classic episode. A doctor who despite what he has done remains faithful to the oath of being a doctor but will he keep that oath when an opportunity to benefit himself presents itself?

Another episode with a great morality lesson and that is that no matter what a man he can still redeem himself. This episode probably has Dan in the most vulnerable position ever as he not only has to get these two guys into prison but help a pregnant woman who may die from giving childbirth.moreless
