  • Doc Holliday shoots a sour gambler on self-defense but his murderous brothers come looking for vengeance.

    9.0
A really great performance by Adam West here as Doc Holliday. Adam best known for Batman and nothing else delivers a nice performance as Doc Holliday.

Holliday beats up a couple of men on gambling. One of them is a sour loser and shoots him in the back like a coward. Holliday shoots back, and the guy is dead.

The dead gambler is part of the Cates brothers. The brothers come to Laramie to exact vengeance even though they know their brother shot first.

Dan puts Holliday in safe custody while he deals with situation.

Entertaining episode decent acting, a nice shootout at the end. Recommended.moreless

    • Treb: I say you cheat!
Doc Holliday: Either stop playing poker or stop drinking. I suggest you do both.

    • Dan: What's your name?
      Doc Holliday: Holliday. Doc Holliday.
      Dan: Medical doctor?
Doc Holliday: No. But I could use a doctor. Medical, Marshal.

    • Dan: Now you get in that hotel room and stay there.
Doc Holliday: Protective custody? Your town furnishes nothing but the best.
Dan: We also offer fine funerals to men who refuse to listen.

    • Gordy: Want my advice, Mr. Holliday, git.
Doc Holliday: Your advice is as bad as your grammar.

    • Doc Holliday: Some day I'll be sitting there holding a flush and Cates'll show up.
Dan: Well, men hunt just so long.
Doc Holliday: Animals hunt just so long. Men hunt all their born days.
Dan: Doc, I can't figure you.
      Doc Holliday: Don't try.

    • Sam: You like to fish, Marshal?
      Dan: No time for it.
Sam: Buy yourself a fishing pole, go fishing a couple or days. Or go on over to Cheyenne a day or two, that way you'll keep yourself out of trouble.
Dan: I never aim for trouble.
Sam: Then don't run. Just ride, easy like. That's what I'd do if I were in your boots.
