    "Superb"
Beaver and Wally are sure that the note Miss Canfield sent home with Beaver is "something bad." So to cover all bases they write a note explaining the discipline that their parents would have administered had they actually recieved the note. All kinds of confusion ensues until June pays a visit to the school.

Beaver Gets 'Spelled was originally the second episode but due to censorship concerning the Captain Jack episode it was shown first and Captain Jack was relegated to position two. As is true with all of the first three season's episodes, Wally and Beaver are both very cute kids who, given a chance, can be endeared to the heart. Tony Dow wans't a veteran actor as was Jerry Mathers, but he held his own and improved somewhat in later episodes. Over all this was a very well-made episode and well worth viewing.moreless
