On the most recent airing of "The Mustache" episode this week, the "I Love Lucy" commercial interrupted the last line spoken by Cheryl Holdridge (Julie Foster). It's frustrating to watch an episode and miss the last line which usually offers a nice summary to the message of the episode. It seems that so many of the networks are taking a bit too much liberty with the handling of advertising. It's bad enough that we have to lose part of the screen with the station identification in the lower corner and pop up ads (some with sound!) that take up even more of the visual field. I hope this particular instance was an error. If not, I'm very disappointed that TVland would comprise the integrity of programming to this degree.
