      • This episode is significant because Beaver makes the rounds visiting things he knew as a younger child and they've all changed now that he's reached adolescence. The firehouse where he used to talk to Gus is closed up, a neighborhood dog won't play with him anymore, and most significantly, Miss Landers says, "Why, it's Beaver Cleaver isn't it" when he visits her, as if she had to pause for a moment before recognizing him. She is by now his "old teacher" because he's moved on to the upper grades at Grant Avenue School, but the scene emphasizes the message that Beaver is growing up because he and Miss Landers were always so close before.

      • Sue Randall makes her final appearance in the recurring role of Miss Alice Landers. However, she is seen through flashbacks in the final episode.
