In 1945, this program began on radio. It was designed to be a serious discussion forum of male and female relationships.
However, it soon devolved into a show where women bashed men. This same pattern was carried over to the television series.
Each week, a different male appeared on the show to defend the male sex.
The television show was first shown locally in New York City in 1947, and then advanced to the NBC network in April 1949. It stayed on NBC until it went off the air in December 1951. ABC picked up the show in October 1953 and broadcast it until March 1954.
