  • Richard uses his brain, Kahlan shows self-sacrifice, and Cara is ordered into a situation that turns out badly.

    9.5
This episode was outstanding. It showed Kahlan's willingness to die for Richard, some ingenius thinking by Richard to get the Stone of Tears out and get the compass to start working again, and Cara, wow, she played this really well - love that isn't discarded just because of positive influence in her life and also the harm of ordering somebody else to react in a way that you expect of yourself. Cara knew the situation with her son was something she should stay away from, but Richard ordered her otherwise -- thinking it was for the best. in the end, I found myself saying, "poor Cara". second best episode of the entire two year seriesmoreless

Eternity was a superb episode of Legend of the Seeker and I really enjoyed watching this episode because there was a lot of character development, mutation, and growth. Richard and Kahlan go after the Stone of Tears while Cara and Zedd go with a Mordsith to rescue Caras child. It turns out to be crazy and there are all sorts of surprises. I thought breaking Cara was particularly cruel. Richard finds a way as always and Cara surprises. I look forward to watching the next episode of Legend of The Seeker!!!!!!!moreless
  • A wonderful episode!

    9.0
I really enjoyed "Eternity" a lot. It was nice to see Richard and Kahlan together for once without the others around. Their conversation in the cave when they talked about the daughter they are longing for so much was really moving. It's so sad that "Legend of the Seeker" is going to end just as Richard is figuring out that there actually might be a chance he could be together with Kahlan without being confessed. I'd love to see them living their relationship with all its aspects.

Cara's storyline was so very tragic. Poor Cara, to be betrayed like that by the love of her life! I was so happy about the romantic moments she shared with Dahlia. I actually hoped, that there really were a son, she could rescue and develop feelings for, so I felt incredibly sad for her, when Darken Rahl revealed, that he had killed her child right after he had been born.

For now, Cara seems to be back in her old pattern and life as a Mord Sith and be rebroken. I believe though, that in the end, her loyalties are going to lie with Richard, Kahlan and Zedd. When she first was broken as a child, she had been made to believe, that her father had betrayed her and that her real family were the Mord Sith who had trained her to be one of them. In the meantime she has experienced real, unconditional and true friendship and that there are other ways, helping people, showing feelings and being shown feelings, trusting and be trusted and I'm sure that these experiences and the love she has for her friends, are going to win over what the Mord Sith and Darken Rahl have done to her to make her one of their own again.moreless

WARNING, if you have not seen the ep. yet, there are some spoilers!

I loved this episode! FINALLY some good Ricahrd/Kahlan alone moments, It was so sweet, if I had been watching it online I would have played those moments over 1000+! It was a very neccesary episode, and, happily, not a filler. Although it did seemed rather unsatisfactory once it finished, leaving you eyes wide, and your mouth open, starving for the next episode!

the bit with Zedd and Cara, when Cara tricked Zedd into thinking she was not broken. they did very well, although I do think they should have given Zedd at least one hint that she wasn't good. But overall, as you can tell from my rating, it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. One of the best yet!moreless
  • Kara finally gets to do something, besides being eye candy

    8.5
I am very happy that Kara finally got to play a pivotal role; small as it was before this show kicks the bucket and man did she spice things up. I have a whole new appreciation for the Mor'd Sith and Darken Rahl's proves with the women after this episode…hahaha.

The non-stop meandering of that damn compass finally leads the seeker to the Stone of Tears only to find out that the creator is a big wuss; she would rather hide and then fight. Zed and Kara meanwhile try to rescue Kara's son from Rahl only to find out that have been led into a trap. Fortunately they are able to escape but with a few minor adjustments to one of them. Zed as always proves useful only when necessary.

I think the writers to could have done a lot more to make this episode more exciting especially when the seeker first finds the stone, however it wasn't boring either. If this show really gets cancelled (I heard some fans are pooling money to revive the show again) I am going to miss the beautiful women the most. So if you truly enjoy this show despite its shortcomings do whatever is it you have to do to keep it going.moreless
