    "Great"
Home was a great episode of Legend of The Seeker and I enjoyed watching this episode which was pretty much just a filler recapping previous episodes through an interesting story. It was really cool to see Darken Rahl and one of his Wizards performing a spell to trick Richards mind into believing his life as the Seeker was all a dream in order to find the Box of Ordin he had hidden. I thought it was cool how Kahlan finally got through to Richard with the power of her Love for him. I look forward to watching the next episode of Legend of The Seeker!!!!moreless
  • Richard is under spell by DR who is trying to learn the location of the third Box of Orden.

    "Perfect"
It is hard to be objective about a show that is near perfection. This is one of if not the best show on tv and I am glad I stumbled upon it this season. I haven't read the books nor do I know anything about them. One thing I do know is that the show is awesome. In this episode Richard is put under a spell by DR who is trying to learn the location of the the third BOX or Orden. DR uses many people from Richard's life to try and make him think this trance world is real. Richard has a hard time believing that Kahlan is a figure of his imagination in the trance. It is his feelings for Kahlan that bring him out of the trance just before DR can get the exact location of the the third Box of Orden.moreless
  • Richard gets caught in a dream-state spell by DR and we see flashes back to several episodes.

I'm a little disappointed in this episode. Just about every series of show that I've seen has had a flashback episode to give a brief history for those that haven't watched the show from the beginning. I generally don't mind these types and in general this one was ok. However, the poking around in Richard mind by DR and his ability to pick out people and places for everything in Richard's past *except* the one thing he's looking for doesn't make too much sense.

Because it was a flashback episode, you didn't get the action/adventure you normally would unless you hadn't been watching from the beginning. So it seemed a little boring and drawn out for me since I have been watching since E01. It's that reasoning that I gave it a lower score than I normally would.moreless
  • Okay, so first I loved the serie so far, but this episode was just bad and totally silly!

    "Poor"
First and most of all, if Darken Rahl can't read Richard's mind through the spell and directly know where is the box of Orden, how did he managed to know who was Richard's childhood girlfriend (Anna) ????????
This fact didn't bother you? Perhaps you have a *magic* explanation? Mine is that nobody read the script before shooting...
This episode was already not really interesting with the overlong flashbacks; this mistake just killed it all.
Another minor detail bothered me, but I could have lived with it if it's been the only one. If such a powerful spell exists, that only Zedd and Giller (Darken Rahl's wizard) can do it, and that this spell is only possible once in every 119 years, how could Zedd not have thought of it before ? (Okay, he's not on top of his game after all these years...)
Anyway, great show, really poor episode.moreless
  • Richard falls under DR's spell.

    "Abysmal"
This episode was really awful -- it makes me think they had no time to film an episode and just used clips from prior episodes. The entire episode consists of Richard narrating the events of the previous season to various characters from his childhood, supposedly under the spell of DR. The entire episode feels pieced together from bits of the previous episodes (which of course were all amazing in my opinion). I feel that this was just a mid-season recap for viewers who may have come into the season late. But otherwise it doesn't really serve a purpose except to show that Richard and friends must race to the third box before DR.moreless

    • Kahlan: So, how did you know it was a trick? What brought you out of it? Richard: As real as it was in every way, nothing in my whole life has been more real than you and right when I was about to tell Anna where the box was I sensed that I absolutely knew you existed. I knew because I felt.. I felt your love for me.

    • Kahlan: You've been awfully quiet. Richard: Ah, I've just been thinking. If you really exist and if you're really a wizard and not the chicken man from thorn hill and my dad really is dead.

    • Richard: I know this is crazy but back there in my dream or whatever it was the fate of the world rested on no one ever finding out where that box was and I don't know it just feels wrong to tell anyone this.

    • Richard: Yes. I still care for you, Anna. Kahlan: Anna? Who's Anna?

    • Zedd: I do know a healing trick and there's no cure for a frightening grip of a nightmare like telling it to a friendly listener, and there's no one friendlier like Clara. So tell us, did you take up this sword. Did you defeat this darthenly Ranssyn Fane.... Oh, Richard. At the very least it'll make a very good story. Richard: It know but it doesn't feel like a story.

    • Kahlan: I can't wake him. Zedd: You wont be able too. Kahlan: What do you mean? Zedd: Three stars of Amulous will appear in the circle of the crescent moon. Every Hundred and Nineteen years and when they do it is possible to cast a spell of the Lying Moon. Kahlan: What kind of spell is that? Zedd: Powerful magic. Causes the victim to fall in a dream where he believes that he is among friends when he's really amongst enemies and in that dream the man will reveal secrets that in his waking life would share with the people he trusts most. Kahlan: Who would have done this to Richard and why? Zedd: There is only one wizard who is capable of working this magic and that wizard works for Darken Rahl.

    • Richard: Go on Zedd. Tell them that you're a wizard. Zedd: That's a new one. Imagine someone taking me as a wizard.

    • Richard: I need to talk to Zedd! George: What, the crazy old man who likes to talk to chickens? Why would you want to talk to him? Richard: Don't try to stop me.
