Marked was a superb start to the second season of Legend of The Seeker. I really enjoyed watching this episode because there was a lot of action, drama, intrigue as well as character and plot development. This episode really sets up the second season and covers the Seeker's new mission and the new enemy who none other than the Keeper of the Underworld. I thought it was great to see Rachel again. Charisma was an awesome Mord'Sith and I enjoyed watching Cara reclaim her position and eventually pledge to the living Lord Rahl. I look forward to watching the next episode!!!!!!!moreless

    9.5
The writing is zippy, the story spins like a top, and Craig Horner turns out to be the most charming of leading men i've ever seen in tv shows. and after watching the whole season 1, I personally would like to admit that Bridget Regan is such a lovely actor who did a remarkable work on portraying the beautiful and sophisticated confessor.

I admire this show. I've never read the books but this show really blew my mind.. the creators made such a wonderful world where the wizard, the confessor and the seeker is on a mesmerizing quest to defeat the evil forces that come on their way. the adventures are really exciting and addicting.. Sometimes I find myself enjoying the show so much that i don't realize that i'm at the edge of my seat at all times.

i admire the chemistry of the seeker and the confessor as well as the support of the wizard. the three of them made this show and could have been nothing without these brilliant actors who did such a good job portraying these interesting characters. the season finale of season one was amazing. honestly it was one of the best season finale episodes i've ever seen.. it felt just like a movie. you couldn't ask for anything more.. i thought the show was going to end there since they already defeated darken rahl. but i was wrong.. the show even took a huge step into expanding the adventures and the story unpredictably and created this wonderful episode as a start of season 2. this episode has proven to be a start of another interesting adventure.. and i must admit that this show never ceases to amaze me.moreless
  • I really hoped they will use books in season 2 more than in season 1. But unfortunately it seems they used them less.

OMG, they twisted everything. Richard and Darken are brothers?! They are supposed to be father and son. I don´t see any reason to change that. It has absolutely no significance for story whether they are brothers or father/son. So why the change? Mord-Siths in service of Darken Rahl ghost fight against Richard? They were supposed to be liberated of their duty by Richard and then join him from their free will. That way it completely lost it´s magic and depth. And naming new seeker instead of Richard? Well THAT is the most awkward idea of all. I really hoped that they will use the books more than in season 1, but they did exact opposite. Thank god for Cara. She´s keeping the spirit of books alive. Ok, we´ll see, what´s gonna happen in next episodes. But for now, I´m pessimist.moreless
  • The opening episode continues to provide and unveil surprises! The second season seems to truly get even better!

I don't know why people wouldn't stop for a while in comparing the tv show from the book ... For example: what's the big fuzz in making Rahl and Richard as brothers instead of being father and son? Why can't you guys accept changes? Rather than the book, why wouldn't you try to compare the show to other TV shows and you'll find it way much classy, elegant, more entertaining, with more quality, and way so much better than most TV shows which gets very high ratings but have storylines which make viewers look so stupid to watch them .. and yet, they give them high rates! if you are a real fan of the book, you would have appreciated at least the efforts of the show in making a difference! I suggest, you better learn to expect the unexpected and enjoy the beauty of surprise.

The show is too good to receive your letdowns people. The show deserves high ratings, what you do simply tells us to stop the show and it is not helping. If you want the same story as with that of the book, better produce it yourself.

The show did not promise the same story as that of the book. Give credit to where credit is due. Please.moreless
  • Darken Rahl and Richard Rahl, Brothers...?

    8.0
The show overall is great, and i enjoy these changes in the story line (to a certain degree), even tho they are not nearly as good as the original story line in the books.

That being said, this episode is kind of what i expected for the start of season 2, it was a good strong opening pilot, and i look forward to what they have in store for this season.

My only hope is that they dont do too radical changes from the books. For example, Darken Rahl being Richards brother, rather than his father = Wth?

Would have rated it 5/10 because of that, if it wasnt for Cara and the Mord Sith. My advice if you like this show, and you havnt checked out the books/audio books. Do it as soon as possible! Cause they are books, they obviously have a way more detailed storyline, and will keep you up for hours, night after night.moreless
