Cosmic Boy: Cool power. You know, I have one too.
Lightning Lad: Yeah? Let me guess. You turn into a wet blanket, right?

Grimbor: Instead of saying "thank you," Mr. Brande, perhaps you should say your goodbyes.

(Reciting the Legion Pledge, right hand raised)
All: To the Legion of Super Heroes, I make this solemn pledge, to use my powers for good, to fight for justice, and protect the innocent, to aid my fellow Legionnaires in times of peril, and to keep their secrets safe. We are the Legion of Super Heroes!

Lightning Lad: Tell me, Cos, how does it feel to get out from behind a desk for a change?
Cosmic Boy: You know, you're getting on my last good nerve, Garth.
Saturn Girl: I think I need to slip back into that healing trance.

Grimbor: Never send a boy to do a man's job!
Saturn Girl: How about a girl?

Lightning Lad: Sorry, but unless you have a doctor's note, you're not going anywhere.
Saturn Girl: (holding up her flight ring) Here's my doctor's note.

Cosmic Boy: We'll call ourselves "Awesome Kids United." No, wait, "Up With Heroes."
Saturn Girl: Uhh, let's keep brainstorming.

Cosmic Boy: You don't owe us anything, sir. We're just doing our part to make the universe a better place.
Lightning Lad: Oh brother.

Saturn Girl: And to think, you would have gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for us meddling kids.

R.J. Brande: I'm proud of you, son.
Chameleon Boy: Enough to raise my allowance?

Lightning Lad: And I know I give you a hard time, but you really do make a great leader. I just happen to think I'd be a better one.
