Lenny Clarke was one of my favorite comedians of late 1980s, often appearing on "Live at the Improv"
Clarke soon got his own sit-com on CBS, created and produced by the same people who created the "Golden Girls" "Entertainment Weekly" gave "Lenny" a good review, declaring it one of the best sit-coms of the fall 1990 season. I enjoyed the program and remember many good laughs. "Lenny" was somewhat similar to "Everyone Loves Raymond", Lenny lived next door to his in-laws, but they were nicer. But there was also some differences, Lenny was a blue color guy, working two jobs and often struggling to pay the bills (something many programs don't deal with) CBS never give the program a regular time spot and it only lasted one season.
