    • Wow. C'est la meme chose...

Just watched episode one of Les Revenants, it was really good. (With subtitles)

Then went through episode one of The Returned, and it is essentially shot for shot.

Guess I'll stick with the original, usually those are better anyhow. Plus, as an upside, my french gets better from listening. WIN/WIN
    • Don't watch, Resurrection. Watch the far superior original, The Returned.

Okay, somebody wrote that the last two episodes were a let down, or boring, or something to that effect. I suggest that you find something else to watch because I don't think you actually "get" this show. The Returned exquisitely blends mysterious tension with strong, REAL characters that viewers care about, faults and all. I am over-the-moon thrilled to find out that it's coming back so that I won't have to continue trying to trudge through the Americanized version in an attempt to relive the pure pleasure that watching the original was.moreless
    • First for France

First series I have ever watched from France, and I have to say I am pleasantly surprised at how good it is. It's got a nice eerie background music throughout that lends itself perfectly to this slowly unraveling weird and mysterious show. The acting is very well done, especially from some of the younger cast. My only gripe is that it's not in English, although I have no problem in reading :)moreless
    • Bingeworthy.

If you are looking for gore and action, you'll be disappointed. Otherwise, this series is thoroughly mysterious and horrific -- in a quiet way.
    • Just watched the ....

I honestly didn't know what to expect at the end of the show. It did seem to be building towards as the dam breaking, which it did.

If this show had been a stand alone season, it gave about as many answers as the series finale of 'Lost'. When I read that the show had been picked up for another season, I was somewhat relieved since there could be hope for the show to redeem itself and the writers could be trying to tell a good story where they have answers.

What Don't understand is why it is taking so long for another season. The first season ended in December of '12. Is this a French thing? ;-)moreless
