  • Kitschy and fun, you weren't going to see anything like the show, "Let's Bowl".

I wasn't even looking for it, but there I was... drawn into the strange and entertaining world of "Let's Bowl" on Comedy Central. Now I'm no fan of bowling but the premise was so unique... settle your disputes over ten frames of tenpin. Beat your opponent and take on the league bowler for a shot at a new boat or a trip to Door County, Wisconsin.

The cast is what made the show. Straight man "Chopper" Sedahl and color commentator Wally Hotvedt were hilarious. They tempered their bowling commentary with recorded skits (such as the Greco-Roman wrestling tribute they did... in the nude). The Queen Pins... well, they weren't Barker's Beauties, but what would you expect from a bowling alley in Minnesota. And Ernie made a fine music director/announcer. Sure would like to see this back on Comedy Central or even DVD.
