The first time I saw this episode, I didn't notice, but on repeat watching, I realized that the woman who they took down didn't really deserve it, compared to all of their other marks. There are probably some big wigs involved with this corporation who would deserve it, but she didn't really stand out as so terrible. She was really great at her job, though I do consider her job lame. She didn't want to follow the cadmium poisoning lead, but it wasn't clear until the very end if she even believed it was a real concern. She even voices that it's the people at the top who run their business that way, bribing officials and whatnot, and she's just along for the ride. She's definitely a bit slimy, but I just felt a bit bad for her when they made her feel sick and gave her a rash. The teenage-looking assistant manager was actually a bigger asshole in an obvious way, being the one who was actively asking people to work through their lunches.
I haven't complained about a single other episode of Leverage, and I don't plan to, but just this once they didn't really convince me that the mark deserved what she got. I would say this is my least favorite episode.
