After a strong episode from the return from hiatus, this week's show was really disappointing.

Just an odd effort by the Leverage team as they went through countless unnecessary measures to make the bad guy think he was dreaming. That's not usually how he works.

And then the ending was a little corny too.

    • Parker: I'm not Patience! Patience is dead, okay? She's dead and it sucks and that's the way it is. But you're alive! You're here!
Dodgson: You don't und--you don't understand. She was the only one who... I'm alone.
Parker: I don't understand? I had somebody. I lost someone once, okay? And I thought I was alone, too. But you know what? I wasn't. People thought I was crazy, but I never was. I--I never was, and neither are you. You're not alone.

    • Injoke: Besides the title, there are several references to Alice in Wonderland:
      * Charles Dodgson is named after Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, the author of the book.
      * Mr. Carroll is named after Lewis Carroll, Dodson's pseudonym.
      * Alex Liddell is a near-exact phonetic match for Alice Liddell, the girl who was the inspiration for Alice in the novel.
      * The two drug patches are colored red and blue, a reference to The Matrix where the pills are colored red and blue. The red pill lets Neo "stay in Wonderland."
      * Sophie claims to work for Hatter Mercantile, a reference to the Mad Hatter, one of the characters in the novel.
