The Lexx is forced to land on a planet to eat and replenish its energy supply. While they wait, Stanley and Zev go outside to bury Kai, who seems to have run out of the protoblood that kept him functioning. On their way back, Zev insists on investigating a structure. Eating Pattern was superb episode of Lexx and I enjoyed watching this episode because it had a pretty good story, the same wacky characters and out of this universe feel. This episode illustrates just how far out there this series can get and it added character and plot development to the series. Snakes in the head has been done before, but this was definitely a new twist on the premise. This first seasons episodes or movies seem a little long for what the story is about, but I was entertained and remained interested in what happened. I look forward to watching the next episode!!!!!!!moreless

"Terrible"

This episode is not my favourite episodes. In fact it does not come close. It gave me the creeps. Using body parts to make a drink called pattern to feed to a snake like parasite that lives in your neck? Gross! And then making a game of it see who loses their leg on a giant roulette wheel of death while lookers on play music and dance. And what happens if you don't feed the snake? It eats your eyeballs! Anything good in this episode was overshadowed by this and an unoriginal plot. Good things about this episode? At least Kai didn't die for good!moreless
