Lyekka was a perfect episode of Lexx and I really enjoyed watching this episode because it maintained the feel of the series and kept the story lines on track. It was great to meet Lyekka a plant being who in the end gives a sort of rebirth to a new Xev. This was awesome, the characters were spectacular and there was also plenty of humor. Theastronautsfrom Potatoho were funny. I liked the dream sequences of Lyekka. It was cool to see Mantrid and his minions destroy Potatoho. I look forward to watching the next episode!!!!!!!!!moreless

  • The Introduction of the fantastic new Xev and the best recurring character the show will introduce. A top-notch episode.

After the touching finale of 'Terminal' - the series had to refind it's feet quickly - and boy did it do it.

To start with, I remember thinking Lyekka was going to be the permanent replacement for the original Xev, but I was even more pleased to find that not only was Lyekka staying around for the rest of the show (recurring albeit), but that a new Xev, sexier and more fun was being introduced.

Xenia only gets 1 scene in this one, but it's beautifully played with 790's reaction classic. Louise Wischermann plays Lyekka superbly, quirky, fun and perfect Lexx tradition. I thoroughly enjoyed watching her dream sequences, mainly because she is so fun to watch.

The three astronauts could easily have been annoying and a bit of a filler, but in fact they're pretty hilarious.

And after a third episode of Mantrid following them and destroying a planet - the scene really is being set for a final battle.

Highly recommended, making 2 fantastic Lexx episodes in a row...moreless
