Lightman: Oh, I think we're being invited backstage which, rumour has it, is a rare honour, you know what I mean? Re-pattern amongst yourselves!
Loker: Well, some of that S.R.P. stuff actually got me thinking. I mean, some of it makes sense.
Torres: It's common sense dressed up, so people want to pay for it. There's whole shelves at mall bookstores dedicated to that.
Loker: Right, well, the trouble is men like Stafford, they prey on you, they make you feel like you're lacking something and that only they have the answer.
Torres: Yeah, it sounds like Lightman.
Cal: What about sport, eh?
Emily: Dad, come on. Just because he looks like a jock doesn't mean that, that's all he is.
Cal: All right, Mr. not jock, semicolons, go.
Liam: Well, you can use a semicolon as a soft period. By using a semicolon instead of a period between two sentences, you show that those two sentences have a closer relationship to each other than they do to the sentences around them.
Cal: As in, Emily's my daughter semicolon and I'm having a hard time adjusting to her being a grown up.
Cal: So, you come to see us about your mum? But it's not just her.
Danielle: I want to kill him.
Cal: Well, it could cost you a little extra.
Gillian: Stafford's a narcissist. He's his own weak spot, and we just have to wait, and he'll trip himself up.
Cal: There's no time for that. He had his thugs break into my house.
Gillian: I called him a narcissist and you make this about you?
Cal: Oh, that reminds me. I want a big wanky picture of myself to put up in my office.
