The latest episode was A++. Dr. Cal Lightman goes to spend vacation with her daughter to Mexico, after six years of constant working, and he immediately faces a request for help from US embassy employee to find a missing woman. Dr. Cal Lightman does not hesitate long and decides to help, but he encounters many obstacles from Mexico Police and the locals. Dr. Gilliam Foster has to work side by side with Jake Rader, Lightman's enemy/former protg who likes to draw attention on himself, to solve tainted blood cases.
While being in Mexico Dr. Cal Lightman secretly spies on his employees and their work zeal through cameras to find out if it was a mistake to go on vacation.

I am falling in love with this show more and more after every new episode. The first season was good, but the second season is great. Maybe, I needed time to get used to a quite different crime solving show or the second season simply rocks. I honestly think this is one of the best or even the best crime solving show on nowadays and I hope it will stay on the air as long as possible.moreless

    • Goof: When Loker receives the second text from Cal he drags across the screen to open it. The iPhone does not provide this function as all texts from one sender appear in a continuous format in a vertical column. And when he opens the text it is on a blank background which should not have been the case.

  • QUOTES (8)

    ADD QUOTES
    • Ria: So, you're setting me up on a blind date with a potential murderer? Cal: Yeah. Why? He's not your type?

    • Ria: Lightman just called. He needs me to fly down to Zulia right now. Gillian: What? He's on a case? Ria: Yeah. A woman's missing. I gotta go. Gillian: Ugh. He's on vacation.

    • Emily: You really need to learn how to relax, dad. People who can't relax, die younger. I learned that in health class. Cal: Don't worry about me, love, will you? Emily: What are you looking at anyway? Cal: Nothing. (He tries to hide the view to his laptop) Emily: You're spying on the office? Cal: Look, I'm my own boss. That's a 24/7 job!

    • Cal: You ever think that grown-ups are full of crap? Tyler: Yeah. Lots of times. Cal: Usually it's cause we've made a mistake, done something wrong but we don't want to talk about it, we don't want to admit it. Which makes us hypocrites.

    • Jack Rader: Where's Cal? Gillian: He's on vacation. Jack Rader: And hell didn't freeze over?

    • Emily: So you're saying that you can just treat me like a child whenever you want to. Cal: No, I'm not. I'm saying that on occasion, it's my right as a parent to be suspicious and overprotective. Emily: Ok. Then on occasion, I reserve the right to throw tantrums and spend all your money. Cal: Deal.

    • Ria: (about Emily) Welcome to the age when they need you but think they're smarter than you. Cal: Well, she always was.

    • Cal: How do you learn to live longer? Emily: Well, there's meditation and yoga, but for you I'd definitely say you need both. Cal: Yoga's that thing you do in a lounge chair with a mai-tai in your hand, right? Emily: Yeah. Yeah it is.
