  • Great!

Dr. Cal Lightman is visited by his old buddy, Terry Marsh who is on the Scotland Yard watch list, which turns out not to be a fortunate reunion for Cal because his old buddy quickly gets him into trouble. Cal tries to repay Terry for saving his life (in past) by helping him win lots of money in poker so he could pay off his debt. Unfortunately, Terry wants to pluck Lance McClellan, a New York gangster, who Terry owes the money to. It does not end the way Terry imagined it and Cal has to get involved with Lance McClellan in order to save Terry from a bullet in his head.

I really enjoy the second season of Lie to Me!moreless
  • Cal finds himself mixed in with a little trouble and an old friends, while the rest of the team deals with a puzzling case concerning a drastic video sent to the principal of a school. Great Ep!moreless

As usual, Lie to Me has liven up to it's expectations. The show starts out with a scene that happens later on in the episode, with the events leading up to it after. A few more questions about Cal were answered, and a few more are left for us to find out. Great episode, the suspense was totally there. The case going on with the rest of the teams was great, too. I ofudn it halarious (and expected) that Lightman is a grade A Card player. A few more Foster/Lightman interactions and some foreplay. Can't wait for the next episode in two weeks!moreless
  • IHigh quality episode.

Lie To Me once again proves its high calibre and exceptional quality in this episode. I thought the case that was being investigated was thoroughly interesting, and with shows like his one, learning about the past of the charafcters is very interesting and often enlightening.

The other case with the high school students was also very itneresting to wathc. I love how sometimes the facial expressions on people's faces can be similar and lead to a misinterpretation, such as the confusion in theis episode between homicidal intent and suicidal intent.

Overall, Lie To Me is a show of high calibre and this episode is direct proof of that. Let's hope that this standard is maintained!moreless

    • Cal: You've started dating again, haven't you?
Gillian: Stop it, Cal, right now!
Cal: Yeah. All right. Stock broker? Money manager? Banker? (Gillian laughs) Oh, I thought you wanted to have some fun.
Gillian: Oh, I'm having fun, don't you worry.

    • Cal: Knock it off, Ben. You know I'm doing this.
Reynolds: Not if I arrest you, you're not.
Cal: You're going to arrest me?!
      Reynolds: Yeah.
Cal I won over a hundred grand in cards last night, I know a bluff when I see one. You're not arresting me.

    • Loker: So where does that leave us?
Cal: That leaves you all fired.
Ria: You gotta be kidding! I didn't even want to do this intervention.
Cal: Well, just you, then. Just you are fired, for having no spine.
      Ria: I don't believe this.
Cal: Good, 'cause I'm lying. What, you didn't spot that? Oh, did your emotions get in the way? You should really work on that. Well, this has been terrific. Really fantastic. Quite the intervention. We should do this again soon, very soon.

    • Cal: Well, what is it about, then?
Gillian: It's about you trusting us. You were in trouble, and you never came to us.
      Cal: Wait a minute...
Gillian: No, you wait. We're a team. And you risked your life without letting us help you.

    • Terry: Terry Marsh, his ex-partner in crime.
Cal: In a manner of speaking.
Gillian: Gillian Foster, current partner in crime.

    • Dr. Cal Lightman: (walking away) I will be back in a minute.
Dr. Gilliam Foster: You look awful.
Dr. Cal Lightman: And yet, I feel so much worse.
