  • Good episode, but not the best.

This was a really good episode of Lie To Me, but I don't think it was as good as some of the previous ones, and some in the future.

The case about the kidnapped brother and sister was incredibly interesting, and that was thoroughly entertaining and suspenseful to watch, however, the case about the medication was too elongated and dragged out and became rather dull at a point, in my opinion.

I recommend this episode for one of the two cases, while the other was bad. I hope there are more innovative and original cases like that one in the future. A great job by the Lie To Me cast!moreless

  • Lies amongst friends.

I was curious to see how lies are treated when an old friend of Cal's hires the Lightman Group and I wasn't disappointed. I loved the scene between Cal and Ria with the explanations of lie detection from friends and people within the Lightman Group. It actually really made sense of why its not acknowledged. The Group is also working for the release of two American Hostages in the middle east which I was really intrigued to see play out. I thought that Sarah Coleman being a spy, especially unbeknownst to her parents, was a great twist. I think the one of the reasons why Ria is good at what she does is she tends to keep Cal on his toes and honest, especially with himself. Which showed brilliantly as he tricked Buchanan into helping reveal the truth behind the drug study. Cal does his own lying in keeping secrets as he watching over Jillian.moreless

    • (Talking about Foster) Torres: Fine. Pretend like you don't give a damn what's going on with her, I know you do. Lightman: Sit down. Sit down. (She sits) Look, in case you haven't figured it out yet, it's different when you're one of us. Everybody has things they don't wish to share. Torres: She's your friend. Lightman: You're not listening to me. In this workplace, with everything that we see, we have to be very clear on the rules. Torres: You and Foster have rules? Lightman: If there's something she wants to tell me, she will. Everything else, everything else I see, I ignore. I trust her to take care of herself. Edit
    • Peters: Where's the chia pet? Foster: Loker? Peters: Yeah, that guy definitely needs a shave and a haircut. Foster: He's monitoring the closed-circuit cameras so he can can do stress analysis on the Yemenis. But I'm sure he'll appreciate the tip. (Waves at the camera.) Edit
    • Cal: What? What now? Ria: (about Gillian) You saw her covering, right? I mean, you saw how upset she looked. Cal: Yeah, congratulations. Once again, you've arrived at the apparently foreign destination of none of your damn business. Ria: Man, I don't get you. Cal: Good. Stop trying. Edit
