Flipping through the channels and came across the latest Attenborough wildlife series called LIFE. I had completely forgotten about this new series. After only seeing the last part of one episode I knew I had to catch the rest of the series.

The colours and image sharpness of the photography just memerised me.

As is common with current TV programmes, LIFE is broadcast in 16:9 format. Really fantastic to see on the screen

The information in Attenborough's documentaries are always interesting and as usual, surprised me with the snippets of information we did not know about the nature we see before us.

I will be catching up on iPlayer with the remaining episodes

Why are they changing the narration for the U.S.??? Discovery will be airing the same footage as the BBC version, with Oprah's voiceover? Why is that necessary? Attenborough's voice is great in nature doc's!

They should air it as laguage track 2. Just after SAP.

this will be brilliant as always!

damn why isn't Richard Attenborough narrating this time? to me he is the BEST ever

are they trying to get more ratings by getting Orpah?

They probably think Americans don't want to listen to a British accent, no faith in us. I went ahead and got the BBC version in 1080p sans Oprah and can't be happier.

Up here in Canada Discovery Channel aired the BBC original version. So luckily I didn't have to deal with Oprah's narration. Although I did watch a couple of eps with her narration. Attenbrorough is by far the better narrator though.

I hope this team keeps doing documentaries like this, I can't get enough of them.
