And it seems that The CW doesn't want to air reruns either... But at least now they can see that the problem was the timeslot, not the show: the comedy block doesn't do better in that time than the combination of Life is Wild and ANTM C9 reruns did...

this show was amazing, and it's tragic that good family shows like this can't prosper on tv anywhere.

I completely agree. It's sad how tv is becoming.

I just joined the site today to check out the status of 'Life is Wild' and i have to say i'm dismayed at the news that it has been scrapped. Incidentaly, i live in Scotland and came across the programme quite by chance last year, i was lucky enough to catch it on the first episode on SKY - Hallmark channel 150. I am gutted this show has been axed absolutely gutted.

For anyone who is interested, the above show was the American version of our own 'Wild At Heart' which has just started it's 3rd season here on ITV. is you can get that channel please give it a watch, it's also excellent. If you can download seasons 1 and 2 it would be even better for you. It is the same basic story of a British vet and his new wife going to Africa to help it's wildlife and people. He has a daughter who is 16 years old and his wife has a son of 14 years and a daughter who is younger than her brother by a few years. It's the same house they live in as in 'Life is Wild' only it's called Leopards Den and also like your show, next door is Mara. If you can get it, please give it a go, you won;t be disappointed.
