In this episode of Life Unexpected the following happens. As the wedding approaches and Cate finds out the truth about her father, she decides that she wants to see him before the wedding. And so she, Baze and Lux all take a family road trip to go and see him. But soon Baze can see that her father is holding something back. Baze and Cate argue about it and so he leaves. The next morning her father doesn't come to pick her and Lux up, instead he leaves them a message saying something has come up. And so Cate goes to see him, where he tells her the truth. He never wanted a family. As Cate starts to cry, she can see that Baze is still there, and she runs into his arms and breaks down. As they drive back home, we see the three of them all singing along together, to Cates favourite song. As the episode ends, we see Lux saying that she is ready. She loves both of them and wants them to both officially become her parents again.moreless
