      • Ryan: (when Cate wakes him up early) Aren't we supposed to be on break from work?
Cate: Well, we might have the week off, but today is Lux's first day back at school, so I thought we could have a family breakfast. You know, as a family.
        Ryan: Five more minutes.
        Cate: I'm making French toast.
Ryan: (rolls over) That's perfect. The fire alarm will wake me up...

      • Sam: I heard Tasha got sent away. That ought to lower your profile.
Lux: Can you leave me alone?
Sam: Why don't you get your boyfriend to baby-sit you? He seems like an upstanding guy, breaking the law aside.
Lux: He's not breaking the law.
Sam: Oh, so you guys haven't sealed the deal yet? You know, in some social circles, that's called stachutory rape.
Lux: Okay, you can stop talking anytime!
