I thought this episode "Rumor Mill (Valentines Day)" was pretty boring. The plot wasn't as funny and the way it usually is. I thought that Mike Seater and Ashley Leggat didn't exactly act out their characters as well as they usually did. I just thought that the whole plot and outline was really boring and not as entertaining as usual. Hopefully, the show starts stepping up and the writers start scripting better episodes. Otherwise, Life With Derek will go down the toilet and it will lose a lot of viewers and ratings. Next time, a more funnier and better episode idea for us!moreless

    • Lizzie: Edwin! Why is everyone at school asking me to do "the robot"?
Edwin: 'Cuz they think you have a bionic leg.
Lizzie: And why would they think that?
Edwin: 'Cuz I told them you did.

    • Sheldon: Emily my Little Squirrel, will you take me back?
Emily: Yes, I will. As long as you promise never to call me little squirrel again.

    • Sheldon: (to Casey) To be honest I... I had you pegged as a "goody-goody". Who knew you could be such a "baddy-baddy"?

    • Casey: Sheldon, I need to talk to you about Emily.
Sheldon: She wants me back, huh?
      Casey: Yeah.
Sheldon: Yeah, well I'm not surprised. Girls always want what they can't have.
Casey: Uh... where'd you hear that?
Sheldon: I read it in a book called "Girls Always Want What They Can't Have".

    • Emily: Hey, Case. Two tickets please.
Casey: 'Kay. That'll be twenty dollars.
Sheldon: Yeah! Of course! Twenty dollars. (to Emily) Um... Listen. Can I borrow twenty dollars? I'll pay you back in hugs!

    • Casey: What are those?
Emily: It's Sheldon's gym socks. It's all I have to remember him.
Casey: Oh, uh.. Em, that's really... That's disgusting.
      Emily: It's is, isn't it?
      Casey: Yeah.

    • George: Hey! Check it out! I found it! The perfect Valentine's Day gift for Nora. (laughs)
      Derek: A blender?
George: Yeah, yeah! Because it represents the blending of our two families.
      Casey: A symbolic appliance?
