Show Summary
EDITLife is an NBC police drama about a police detective who is released from prison after serving 12 years for a crime he didn't commit. Charlie Crews (Damien Lewis) is released from Pelican Bay State Prison after DNA evidence proves he didn't murder his former business partner Tom Seyboldt and two of his immediate family members. Having lost his wife, job, friends and all contact with the outside world, Crews makes it his mission to solve the murder that cost him 12 years of his life. Crews rejoins the police department, much to the chagrin of his boss Lt. Karen Davis (Robin Weigart), who makes it her business to run him out of the department for good. Crews is partnered with Det. Dani Reese (Sarah Shahi), a recovering drug addict and alcoholic, who is battling her own demons. Crews is forced to confront various people in his past to unravel the mystery behind who framed him and why.
