  • Well written and funny, with a hint of darkness.

I really liked this episode, it was laced with funny moments based on Crew's humour and Ted crying like a baby, but to me it was a dark episode filled with twists and turns. Liked the goth morgue party alot. It was like every character was showing both a light side and a dark side both at the same time. Ted displayed a dark side, so did the happy phtographer and the smiling FBI agent.
Extremely well written and well worth the watch.

I really hope that the series is renewed and maybe goes in a different direction, maybe a newer conspiracy.moreless

  • Zen is back. Teddy cries. Goth morgue love fest. Melon and icicle.

Zen finally makes its way back from the wilderness and the show is immediately the richer for it. Danni's Zen website (after a lot of searching) unfortunately does not exist "www.zenoneness.com".

However, here is the wisdom imparted this week:

"Objects are not deceiving - they are deception. What we see, what we hear - all that our senses present to us is fiction. No more real than a dream. We can only know that which we believe. That which we believe - that ... is all we have."

    Awesomeness.

Ted steals the show for me once again. His reconnecting with his estranged daughter was great, and the subsequent crying fantastic. I really am itching to know what happens to son in law. Grand-pops Ted did not seem too happy.

The story line was also strong - and only really let down by the camera flashing in the dark scene. Icicle in melons are definitely more down the road of Life than ex-cons acting on the electric chair. Did not hurt to have a goth love fest in a morgue (ably supported by an awesome tune!): "Candles + Vodka + Condoms - you know what that adds up to." Lols.

Was good to have Crewes talk to Agent Bodner and finally bury the hatchet. Hope we see more of this comedy duo.

And having Danni Reese finally get over the "is he or isn't he bad" phase was a relief. Please, please kill her off - Crewes' new partner can actually act!moreless
